My Yuki and Grace Sweeties are mother and daughter. Yuki (her name was not Yuki then) was someone’s cat and she was struggling to look after Yuki due to her social and economic issues back then. That was around year 2016 when Yuki started to come to my house either just to rest or food. One day I noticed she was badly bruised by her neck. He flesh and bones were out and it was pretty disturbing for me to know that she was abused by someone. Later I found out she was beaten by some dogs that were not disciplined by their owner. It appeared that Yuki’s owner back then was living at that dog owner’s place due to family connection or something. Anyhow, I needed to speak with Yuki’s owner and mentioned her politely that she should look after her cat and take the cat to vet or clean the wound. Week gone past, nothing happened, Yuki’s wound was getting worse and she was struggling to keep strength and was feeling hungry most of the time. She was spending lot of time outside my house. After speaking to my best friend who lives in America, I cleaned her wound, and luckily her wound started to heal. I fed her alongside my Megan sweetie and Yuki decided to stay around my house. One day I noticed she was pregnant. I made another attempt to talk to that girl who owned Yuki but she was simply way too preoccupied with her personal life. Yuki ended up gave birth to my place but sadly with her litter of 5 kittens, only one survived. It was sad for me to see that two of the kittens died during birth and three of them died in few months time, despite my best endeavor to keep them alive. I really felt guilty that I couldn’t manage to save all her kittens but one survived and I named her Grace. Since, then Yuki and Grace ended up living with me. Of course I moved out from there as they were endangering Yuki and Grace’s life and even attempted to cause distress on me. I do not know how old Yuki is but my educated guess would be she was roughly 4 years old when she started to come to my house back in year 2016. So I think her age could be between 6 – 7 now. Grace of course born in my house and I know her birthday. She was born on August 06, 2016 around 11pm. I was born in August too but over 40 years before Grace. Oh, I almost forgot, why I named them Yuki and Grace. I do not know how many of you watched a Japanese Animation Film called The Cat Returns (click the name to find out more). It’s a film I can watch over and over, not in same day of course. It’s a great film and anyone who loves cat may enjoy it. There is a character in that film called Yuki. Incidentally Yuki’s life in that film and my Yuki’s life has some things in common. They both had a bad start and they both end up living peacefully thereafter. Hence I named her Yuki. If Yuki would have been a woman, I sure would propose her to marry me just like the way prince Lune married Yuki in the film but of course prince Lune was a cat from the cat kingdom. I named Yuki’s daughter Grace for two reasons. One both Grace and Yuki are very graceful by nature and Grace Kelly, the American Screen Legend who ended up marrying prince of Monaco is my all time favorite Hollywood actress!
